Examination: Mentation: BAR mm: pmg CRT: <2s Ln: nad Heart/lungs:nad Dental grade:0 Bilateral oe- ear canal inflamed. Cytology:not done. Malassezia at PVE Assessment: Otitis externa Bilateral Treatment: Compounded ear gel inserted- Enrofloxacin 0.23% Ketoconazole 0.67% Triamcinolone 1.5% in poloxamer gel 2ml in each ear. Preds 10mg bid 3days then 10mg oid 3 days. Trazodone 300mg the night before and 2hrs before coming to the vet. Plan: Vaccs and Cu ears in 8 days
