for last 24hrs liquid diarr no blood...last offered food last night but vomited overnight, given kibble...hiking in blue mountains over weekend not on leash, may have eaten something up there.....up to date with tick preventative due today...energy seems better this arvo compared to this am...drinking...last vomit 2hrs ago...water... Tucked in tail past few days, painful sitting down a lot. Seemingly after the beach 2 days ago. Very sensitive to tail and snapping when touching it. O says trying to soothe. First day after beach had a bit of loose stools after swimming always. Otherwise EDDU normally.PE: MM P+M, BAR, heart free from murmurs and arrythmias, lungs free from crackles and wheezes, LNS WNL, ears free from lesions malodour discharge, eyes clear bright visual, teeth free from plaque and malodour and lesions, abdo slightly tense, tail firmly tucked under at rest and walking in a half crouch with hind legs. Unable to examine hind legs, rectum or tail- went past flank with PE and he snapped. Assessment: ddx tail injury (soft tissue vs orthopedic) vs hind limb injury (soft tissue) vs digestive issue/general abdominal discomfortTreatment: 500mg paracetamol PO BID for 5 days starting tonight, 0.1mg/kg PO SID metacam for 5 days starting tomorrow morning,1.5ml temgesic SQ between shoulder bladesPlan: reassess pain tomorrow morning/arvo- told O to contact if still in pain and can dispense gaba. If unresolving, worse or still painful in 5 days then admit for xray of tail and sedation for more thorough tail/hind limb/rectal exam     Vital Signs
