09/03/2026 HISTORY - Vomiting multiple times yesterday during the day , initially food then bile and stomach acid - Reduced appetite, only ate a quarter of her usual food amount this morning - Normal dinner consumption the previous night without subsequent vomiting - No bowel movement since illness onset - Regular diet includes kibble, raw food, and a gut supplement - No recent changes in diet or new treats introduced - Known to scavenge and rebury food , eats horse faeces EXAM Temperature: 38.7°C (normal) Gums: Moist and shiny General demeanor: Bright and energetic ears NDA Eyes NDA LN WNL Chest clear no murmur NDA abdo palpation coat and skin NDA DIAGNOSIS - Suspected primary gastrointestinal disease due to dietary indiscretion PLAN 1. Administer antiemetic injection (Prevomax ) 1.3 mls s/c at 11.00 am 2. Prescribe antiemetic tablets for home use- cerenia 3. Dietary change to bland diet (chicken and rice) for 3-5 days before reintroducing regular food 4. Monitor eating, drinking, urination, and defecation at home 5. Consider further diagnostics (blood tests, X-rays, fecal analysis) if no improvement with symptomatic treatment
