O communication (phone call)

O reports:
- urge incontinence and haematuria on Saturday
- Sunday straining to urination, not passing any urine but did do one accident in the house
- This morning - straining, dribbling small amounts
- O gave 300mg gabapentin this morning - quite sedate on this
- O reports great appetite, but has not defecated since the procedure on Friday

Plan:
- dispensed gabapentin - 200mg PO BID
- add in 500mg paracetamol PO BID
- add in 1tsp of psyllium husk PO BID in case of constipation
- O to try and palpate abdomen to check for pain - if no pain response then likely mechanical obstruction
- O to watch for urination carefully today - will call again in PM to see for response - if none then consider QOL poor - euthanasia warranted
