Owner seeming to have some difficulty comprehending discussion - vying between getting R at end of day vs coming straight down (owner not wanting to leave R here overnight without staff). Advised rocket not yet had benefit of fluids. R stable and comfortable here. Advised owner to get some more rest and call back in a few hours when he knows what he'd like to do.Rocket QAR in kennel, does wag tail. Not interested in GI wet. Passed very small volume liquid brown D+ during hosp stay today, normal urination. *Owner called and ST KB - confirmed collecting rocket this afternoon--- 08/03/2026 16:38:14 VST:QAR - sharing in kennel. Heart ausc - no murmur but mildly tachycardic HR 132, resp ausc nad. Abdo palp soft but passing small amount of liquid brown and then haemorrhagic faeces upon abdo palp. T 37.6. IV removed. Will strongly urge for Rocket's re-admit tomorrow AM - can continue with maintenance fluids cahrge if brings back in AM--- 08/03/2026 17:29:05 VST:Discharge cons with owner - o declined again leaving rocket as would not be monitored overnight. After taking cath out rocket passing small drops of frank blood - shown to owner. Owner very stressed at this development. Offered again to keep rocket vs. Readmit first thing tomorrow - also advised if concerned should consider 24hr facility.
