BAR EDDU with no urinary issues (prev hx of recurrent bacterial cystitis). Lameness had improved with medication.Reported increased hunger. Went over blood results with owner explaining why we would like to remeasure bloods on a fasted sample. Told owner if ALP continuously high, then we would want to perform ACTH stim test to diagnose hyperA (explained it was a day procedure collecting series of bloods) and that if she is diagnosed hyperA we would consider treatment options if required (assessment of results and clinical signs)2. Owner wants to take everything step by step and start off with the fasted blood sample. Told owner they can book for a nurse consult for the bloods to be taken on a FASTED sample (12hrs fast). Owner going away next week but she said she will book in as soon as she comes back. Test to perform VPDS canine health profile 3.
