Reason: Gunky Eyes, ScratchingHistory: Red mucky left eye in past 24hrs. Has been getting his head into a gum tree trying to get to the parrots in the tree so Mark reckons this is how the eye irritation has happened.Examine: Moderate conjunctivitis with scleral erythema and green mucopurulent discharge at medial canthus of left eye only. Fluoroscein negative.Eye is open and looks comfortable aside from the conjunctivitis.Right eye is fine.Assessment: Left eye acute conjunctivitis, likely from irritants in eye from garden (tree bark or dirt).Plan: Amacin and clean discharge from eye BID for 5-7 days until it resolves.
