03/03/2026 Recheck limping History: Jean presenting. She got back on Friday and noticed Ruby is still sore from her back leg. Difficult to keep her rested as often runs fast and plays boisterous with other dog. Seems to be walking and running fine, but struggling to get up and down from sitting. Also doesn't jump up on the couch. Seems worse in the evenings. Starting desensitization for bee anaphylaxis tomorrow. CLINICAL EXAM: same as last time Demeanour: BAR, very happy Temp: not taken HR: 96bpm No heart murmur detected RR: Chest sounds clear MM pink, crt<2secs. Abdo palpation: soft and comfortable LN: wnl Eyes: wnl Ears: wnl Dental grade: 1/4 Musculoskeletal: very similar to last week. 1-2/5 lame on RHL. Mild thickening of R stifle an pain on flexion and extension today. Initially tender for R hip palpation but not repeatable. Nil other findings. Neuro: appropriate mentation, intact CP x4 Treatment: Chatted about options for lameness. Discussed dx investigation including sedation & x-rays Discussed tx/mx options including NSAID trial. Jane is keen on trying meloxicam and rest for a few days, but will start after desensitisation tomorrow (can't have any meds on the day of). 0.9mg Meloxicam SID x5-7d. Nails trimmed. Plan: keep as rested as possible. C/C 5-7d to ensure improvement. Resee INB for sedation & x-rays. | 26/02/2026 "Hurt her leg" History: o's daughter presenting. RH leg has been sore for about 24h.
