06/03/2026 Reason: Straining to pee, frequent urination. History: Had a similar episode of FLUTD 3 months back. This time similar but with no blood. Not peeing in the litter tray, peeing on mattresses, clothes and carpets. EDUF normal. No change of food, environment. O cleans litter not so frequently. Examine: Mentation: BAR Body condition score: 5/9 MM: Pink mm CRT: <2sec Vitals normal Temperature: Ears: NAD Cardiovascular: NAD Respiratory: NAD Gastrointestinal: NAD Integumentary & lumps (measurement, location): Musculoskeletal: Urogenital: Empty bladder. No significant pain. Neurological: NAD Assessment: FLUTD, Ddx, FIC, UTI - AV to monitor for recent changes in household - Need frequent litter cleanup Treatment: Buprenorphine 0.35ml Stat Pres> Meloxicam 0.5ml (0.05mg/kg SID) for 5 days Gabapentin 100mg BID for 7 days Plan: If not getting better, bring back for urinalysis AV O that he might have to bring a urine sample when coming On-going medications required: Y/N (use prescription tab for further supply):

Discussed with O. that in the meantime he should try to make normal litter trays available in case Cookie has an aversion towards the electric contraption.

Called O. Normal T4 level. Ruling out hyperthyroidism as cause for large amounts of stool. Recommend for O. to start using Prokolin and possibly gastrointestinal food to help restore stool firmness. O. reports that Cookie is happily using the normal litter tray. Does not have any problems at the moment. Recommend recheck GHP and possibly lipase on next bloods due in January 2026
