<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><p>REASON: Annual blood work for Cushing's disease monitoring and assessment of increased water intake over the last 2 wks<br><br>HISTORY: Trixie has been doing well overall on trilostane for Cushing's disease. Over the last 2 wks, owner has noticed significantly increased water intake with big drinks. No excess urination noted. Appetite remains good. Stool consistency varies - some days normal, other days softer formed but not diarrhoea. Gets trilostane 0.7mg BID at 6-7am with breakfast and 3:30-5pm with dinner. Last dose given at 7am this AM. Last ACTH stimulation test was in April last year. Recently changed compounding pharmacy. Weight has increased from 25kg last January to 27.5kg today (was 26.7kg at vaccination visit January 15).<br><br>OBJECTIVE <br>Demeanor: BAR, a bit anxious away from dad<br>Oral: Mucous membranes are moist, pink, CR < 2 sec. <br>Lymph nodes normal. <br>Dental - red gums on right hand side<br>Eyes and ears are clear. <br>Chest auscultation: reveals normal heart sounds and a HR of 120 beats per minute<br>Respiratory: clear bronchovesicular chest sounds bilaterally (pant)<br>Musculoskeletal: no lameness or ataxia noted in consultation<br>Abdominal: Abdo soft and comfortable to palpate<br>Urinary: bladder small- no other abnormalities noted. Urine in cage is quite dilute.<br>Rectal: not performed, faeces on thermometer normal, temp = 39<br>Reproductive (incl ext genitalia): no abnormalities noted<br>Integument: coat clean and dry- No fleas or ticks evident, otherwise no significant abnormalities<br><br>DIAGNOSTIC TEST: ACTH stimulation test to be performed today</p></html>
