Appointment Notes: suspected UTI. Offered earlier appt with KF but wanted JC as this is her usual vet baHistory: Owners have recently noted intermittent heamaturia.Appears at end of void, sometimes with some stranguria. Prev Hx of Bladder stones when living in Edinborough - not been on any urinary diet since living in Australia. Remains otherwise well. No issues with skin or scooting at present. Appetite and weight unchanged. No Vx/Dx or increased drinking noted. No change in level of activity or exercise tolerance. No cough/sneeze or ocular/nasal discharge. Examination: BCS: 5.5/10 weight steady DS: 1 undershot jaw BAR+ HR= 96 dual heart sounds audible bilaterally, regular rhythm. RR= panting, lung fields clear bilaterally, MMs pink and moist CRT< 2 secs. Eyes, ears and nose clear. Nil palpable lymph nodes. Skin and coat good. Normal gait in consult. Laboratory: Urine - fresh voided sample (midday) - see lab results Assessment: Heamaturia - secondary to UTI +/- underlying Bladder StoneIsothneuria - ?Time of day vs renal Intermittent cough - degenerative vs inflammatory/allergic vs other Exc L) inguinal MCT 10/7 ago - Grade 1 clear margins Atopy - well controlled at present. Prev Hx Bladder stonesLipomasTreatment: Commenced on 10 day course of oral amoxyclav. Plan: Owner to collect and drop in a fresh urine sample in 2 weeks for repeat full U/a - preferably first voidof the day to asses USG. Owner advised that if heamaturia stillpresent or recurrent willneed to proceed to abdo U/s . Vital Signs Weight: 8.4;
