Kyra - 0412 913 166 - House-Sitter

Progress examination:

The cranial 3mm of the spey wound is non-healing due to an exposed SC suture knot.
Trimmed with alcohol dipped nail scissors (owners, and blunt unfortunately) but cut back to demris level
Informed the carer that it should continue to heal and the red spot should get smaller, not bigger. They can proceed with regular activities now, but keep looking at the wound daily to make sure it is clean dry and intact.
Application of a simple barrier moisture cream like paw paw ointment or savlon or aloe vera are also suitable before a walk.

NOTE: Kyra reports having the vest on made her itchy. Advised washing it, but also FLAG for skin health examination and food allergy trial discussions in future visits. Consider NEXT vaccination, O is asked about this and appropriate time allocated to consult on dermatology conditions of the breed type.
