History: Started licking RF foot about 1 week ago. licks constantly when not distracted. Doesn't lick any other feet, is not itchy. EDDU normal. Examine: RFL: Fur has mild saliva stain over the dorsal aspect of the RFF. Clipped away fur to inspect further. Very small area of very mild erythema over the dorsal aspect of the third digit. No draining tract, no FB, no swelling etc. No changes on the plantar aspect or in between the toes. No pain on palpation of the digits/joints. Assessment: possible very fine FB in the skin over the third digit? Or possible pain related excessive licking? Treatment: Dispensed Meloxicam PO for 5 days. Placed E-collar to prevent licking. Client Communication: Advised to monitor closely. If any changes happen, eg. swelling, discharge, etc, then needs recheck. Plan: Leave E-collar in place for 1 week. If Misha starts licking again, then recheck foot.     Vital Signs    Weight: 4.34;
