Anaesthesia
Catheterized (24)G IV catheter in (L)FL cephalic v.
Premedication: ACP (0.025)mg/kg (0.1)mL and Methadone (0.2)mg/kg (0.16)mL SIV. 
Induction: Alfaxan (0.6)mL via intravenous catheter in the cephalic vein titrated to effect.
Maintenance: 2% isoflurane gas via an endotracheal tube size (4.5)
Fluids: (hartmann's) fluid through IV catheter at (48)mL/hr
Recovery: (smooth, uneventful)
Medications: Preop(Chlorpheniramine 4mg), intra (nil), post-op (Meloxicam 0.32ml SC)
Kept on popst op Hartmanns IVFT @ maintenance rate until discharge this afternoon

Surgery:
Surgical procedure performed: (Lumpectomy - MCT)
Surgical report:
Animal placed in (LHS lateral) recumbency
Surgery site clipped and surgically prepared with (chlorhexadine, alcohol, chlorhexadine scrub)
Site: (RHS flank/sternal region towards R axillary region)

Procedure Methods: 
Drapes placed
Elliptical incision made over (lump) with (#15) scalpel blade. 
Closure: 
Subcutaneous tissue closure with (3/0) (GEC) in buried (simple continuous) pattern.
Skin tissue closure with (3/0) (GEC) in (buried simple continuous intradermal) pattern.
 
Lump in formalin sent to IVP for histopathology 
Recheck surgical site in 3 to 5 days 
TGH with Meloxicam oral for pain relief/analgesia - start tomorrow afternoon WITH FOOD for next 4 days
