04/03/2026 Reason: Lump on LFL inside of distal phalanx History: O noticed that Dashy had been licking her paw for the last couple of days - noticed a red bump, unsure if it is a grass seed. Current medications: None Examine: Mentation: BAR Body condition score: 3 MM: Pink CRT: <2 HR: 112 RR: wnls LN: NAD Ocular: NAD Oral/Dental stage: 1 - canines appear to be broken but pulp not exposed, has recently had dental and no recommended removal. Ears: NAD Cardiovascular: NAD Respiratory: NAD Gastrointestinal: NAD Integumentary & lumps (measurement, location): Soft blister - no entry or exit wound observed, no puncture marks. Musculoskeletal:NAD Urogenital: NAD Neurological: NAD Problem List: - Blister - Grass seed injury Assessment: BAR. Skin is soft and fluid filled - possible blister. No entry or exit wound, no puncture marks or any suggestion of a bug bite. Cleaned wound with surgical scrub and encouraged to wear a cone for a week. Review in 1 week. Treatment: Meloxicam for 5 days. Followup: Re-visit in 1 week to assess - may need surgical exploration if no resolution.
