Sent text.2/3 O okayed appt change drfHistory:Presenting for ear recheckPersisitent OE malessezia  (L>R)  of about a month Been measuring dermotic 0.7mL BID for another 7 days Pred 10mg SID Is more comfortable with her ears. Doesn't like getting the meds but isn't head shaking/rubbing otherwise in the day. Diet: kibble + cooked chicken/mince + dental stick Rest of skin not bothered. Not feet licking/scooting bottom/rubbing belly Usnure what triggered this flare up Examine:Very wriggly for ear exam!Ears oily from treatment, not erythemic, no discharge or odour Mild light brown exudate on swab for both ears Cytology:Very scant yeast both ears - 1/hpf in ocassional fields. About 3 in total across the slide for each ear. No WBCs, no cocci/rods Some debris Assessment:OE resolved both ears Discussed with O, some dogs still bothered by very low yeast numbers, but Barrie is comfortble currently and O has been happy with how this week has gone. If CS flare up again after stopping treatment, recommend proceeding to GA ear flush/pluck/scope as previously discussed.
