SW    Vital Signs    

History:- Pet has been undergoing physiotherapy and shows some improvement- Recent treatments include laser therapy on hips for arthritis and manual massage- Engaged in hydrotherapy for strengtheningExamination:- General: Pet is bright and mostly happy but a bit stiffTreatment:LASER to hips and thoracolumbar on arthiritis setting MM to TPs in thoracolumbar region MM to inner thigh- gracilis- lack of tone over HLs globally- weakness shown in gait Hydrotherapy session include:  - Initial rep at 0.6 speed for 30 seconds- intro rep-Subsequent reps at 0.6 speed for 40 seconds, then 0.8 speed for 40 seconds (x3 reps), reducing to 0.6 speed for 30 seconds for final rep as end of rep previous- bunny hopping- sign of fatigue. Plan:1. Continue with regular laser therapy and manual work as previously effective2. Increase walking to 10-15 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night, adjust based on pet's tolerance3. Continue current exercises as prescribed    Vital Signs    

Appointment Notes: SMS Sent 23/2/26 (TB)History:- Improvement noted since last session (1 week ago), Os very happy- Otto not tripped once, getting up quickly instead of 20 seconds like normal. - Undergoing laser therapy, PME, and prescribed exercise intolerance- Exercises being performed at home with good compliance and response- Previously diagnosed with arthritis in the hips-O asked if dpg walker can be reintroduced, advised not for now whilst strengthen HLs- dont want to go backwards.Examination:Hips: Arthritis notedHamstrings: TightQuadriceps & Gluteals: Lack of muscle, specifically bicep femorisGracilis: Increased toneTPS in thoracolumbar regionStill intermitantly bilaterally lame but significantly better then previous week- slight scuff of nails/drag but not stumbling like previous weekTreatment:LASER to hips- arthiritis setting, & thoracolumbar TPs on pain settingPEMEManual massage to back- effleuage, skin rollingHydrotherapy- hesistant to walk, used pool noodle behind- encouraged with treats and likimat- use this in all sessions as significantly helped. 4 reps as hesitant (planned to do 6 but terminated early), 350 WL, 0.6speed, 30secs.Plan:- Continue with laser therapy, PME, and prescribed treatments- Introduce hydrotherapy to strengthen muscles and stabilize hips- Continue home exercises- Monitor and adjust treatment as necessaryAdvised no exercises or walks today- rest as will be fatigued and also thirsty. Reduced walk time to 2x5 mins tomorrow and only do exercises once. Then return to normal routine.    Vital Signs
