No MSK abnormalities were noticed in ECC. Owners believe she may have sprained her leg when getting up but was self resolving. After being prescribed Gabapentin and Panadol panting has stopped but is still yelping when resting. She yelped twice this morning at rest, louder than usual. She is fine when she is on walks and owners have not noticed any lameness, HOWEVER she no longer wants to jump in the car and needs to be carried. No vomitting or diarrhea and is on royal canin gastrointestinal diet and B12 supplements daily to avoid GI issues (previous history of reoccuring GI upsets). She is a fussy eater. Has had an ongoing tendency to lick anus region. Other previous history: - Previous history - V+ D+ jan 2025, and hemorrhagic diarrheao over few years, with B12 deficiency, has improved since B12 supplements - 2025: Benign cutaneous histiocytoma on right front paw- owners chose to monitor - Vertebral plexus distension (neck pain) via CT 2024 dishcarged with TXA- LFL and cervical pain 2024 (Cause unknown) - LTL monoparesis (Cause unknown) - did MRI - Previous Neospora infection 2019 dec  NON-SPECIFIC HISTORY: LIFESTYLE: Indoor/Outdoor/Indoor & Outdoor: BothBEHAVIOUR ISSUES: At Vet/At Home - yelping when laying down  OTHER PETS: no DIET: Royal canin gastrointestinal, sweet potato, prime 100, doesnt like croc anymore CURRENT OR RECENT MEDICATIONS: B12 supplements daily. Panadol BID, Gabapentin TID APPETITE,THIRST,COUGHING ETC: EDDU all normal and consistent. No coughing or sneezing, vomiting or diarrhoea VACCINATION: UTDPARASITE PREVENTION (incl. Healthy coat and skin. CIRCULATORY:              	                MM pink and moist, CRT <2sec, no heart murmurs or arrhythmias, femoral pulses strong and synchronous. RESPIRATORY:               	                No wheezing or crackles, normal bronchovesicular sounds bilaterally.DIGESTIVE:                              initially tense and winced on abdomnial palpation in mid dorsal abdomen but when repeated after calming down she did not react.Oral Cavity:                 mild calculus GENITOURINARY:                        	No discharges from vulva. BODY CONDITION SCORE:        	5/9 IN-HOUSE DIAGNOSTICS:USG on voided urine: above 1.050 ASSESSMENT:Problem list:1. Periodic yelping at rest 2. Possible abdominal painInclude your clinical impression of the animal: Xanthie was stable and bright and alert with a normal temperature. However she has had ongoing yelping which has not resolved with pain relief medication which is indivative of some sort of sever pain discomfort. We were unable to localise any pain and did not observe any MSK abnormalities (no reaction to spinal plation, no signs of neck pain). She was initially painful and tense on abdominal palpation however this was not repeatable when she later calmed down so this could either be due to pain, or anxiety related to being touched by vets. Signs are currently non specific but could be extra or intra GIT or neoplasia.  TREATMENT: PLAN (incl. alternative options):1. Take bloods and send to VPDS to look for signs of inflammation (c- reactive protein) or any organ abnormalities 2.
