CLIENT DISCHARGE NOTESPRESENTING CONCERNS:Left forelimb lameness and hot spot on pawPLAN:Discharge home with pain relief. Keep E-collar in place for next 5 days and continue with Ketacomb application.Medications for Administration at Home:Meloxicam: Dose to 8 MARK and give ONCE DAILY for 3 days. GIVE WITH FOOD.SPECIFIC HOME CARE INSTRUCTIONS:Use an E-collar for Reg for the next 5 days. Continue with Ketacomb as originally prescribed. Restrict activity for the next 5 days and avoid walking through grass or getting the paw wet. The Animal Emergency Service advises a reassessment with your regular vet within 48 hours to monitor your pets progress.  If your pet's condition deteriorates or they become flat or lethargic, go off their food and water, develop vomiting or diarrhoea or if you have any concerns please contact the Animal Emergency Service or your primary vet immediately.Thank you for trusting the Animal Emergency Service with the care of Reg.
