07/03/2026 SUBJECTIVE: 11:10am: : Presented by O' Carl : Skin Sx have progressively deteriorated since last exam in January - Poor response to last Cytopoint injection - Previously good response to Cytopoint injections. Several years Hx of pruritis and dermatitis responsive to Cytopoint Rx : Current Rx:- - Oral NexGard Spectra HW/GIW/F/TProph acaricide - But occasionally misses doses - Pyohex s/poo and LOL qwkly - Fluoxetine anxiolytic medication OBJECTIVE: : Ventral body, axillae and distal limbs odiferous, excoriative alopecic skin inflammation with significant thickening of the skin and mild lichenification ASSESSMENT: : Ventral body dermatitis and pododermatitis: Suspect contact allergy:- - DDx: Grasses, weeds or other plants - DDx: Sarcoptic mange (nil Hx of foxes; lives in Watsonia North; has NexGard Spectra HW/GIW/F/TProph) PLAN: : Rx: Cephalexin 1000mg Tbs @ 500mg BID/14dd; Pred-X 20mg Predisolone 20mg Tbs @ 20mg SID/7dd then 20mg EOD/2ww before review further Rx; Tapewormer : Continue Pyohex s/poo and LOL qwkly : R/V 7-10dd; sooner if concerned : F/U further discussion and advice for possible dermatologist referral
