No other prior medical history.Vaccination Status: Not up to date.Current Diet: Not mentioned.Examination:Mentation: Alert and responsive.MM: Pink & moist CRT: < 2 seconds HR: 140 bpm RR: 28 brpm FP: Strong and synchronous Temp: 37.9°CCardiovascular: NAD - normal rate and rhythm, no murmurs or arrhythmias auscultated, pulses strong and synchronous.Respiratory: NAD - no nasal discharge noted, normal respiratory rate and effort, bronchovesicular sounds are normal to all fieldsNeurological: NAD - normal gait, posture and mentation; full neurologic exam not performedGastrointestinal:- Oral: Oral mucosa appears normal, no lesions noted.- Abdominal: Normal on abdominal palpation, no obvious masses noted, comfortableMusculoskeletal: NAD - no evidence of lameness or pain. Full MSK exam not performed.Ears: NAD - pinnae normalEyes: Eyes clear with no obvious discharge or changes associatedLymph Nodes: NAD - peripheral LNs normal in size, no firm or painful LNs identifiedUrogenital: NADIntegument: Interdigital dermatitis with a draining sinus tract on the left front paw.Other: A small white stone-looking foreign body was removed from the sinus tract on the left front paw.Problem List:- Interdigital dermatitis with draining sinus tract and foreign body on left front pawAssessment:This assessment period, Eba has been admitted for exploration of a draining sinus tract on her left front paw. A small white stone-like foreign body was identified and removed. She recovered well from sedation and was discharged.TREATMENT:Sedation with medetomidine (10 mcg/kg IM) and methadone (0.02 mg/kg IM).Local anaesthesia with lidocaine infiltrated into the interdigital region.Meloxicam 0.2 mg/kg SC on recovery.Reversal with atipamezole IM.Discharged with amoxiclav 200 mg PO Q12H.SURGERYThe interdigital region of the left front paw was explored under sedation. A small white stone-looking foreign body was identified and removed. No grass seed was found. The sinus was flushed.Plan:Treatment Plan: Strict rest. Amoxiclav 200 mg PO Q12H.
