Vaccine done 2 months ago, possible maternal abs interference, but less likely. - AHDS due to acute gastro insult - more likely, with habit of picking up stuff of the floor- Extra GI causes - less likely considering signalment, but cannot be r/oTreatment: Maropitant 1mg/kg SC Plan: - Offered conservative management (since Posto is clinically normal) vs investigation + hospitalisation - O elected for former- Bland diet ongoing for next 3-5 days: poached chicken + porridge- Offer plently of water or plain chicken broth to ensure hydration status- Monitor for: more haemorrhagic diarrhoea, worsening d+ and v+, deteriorating mental states/energy levels- Sent faecal sample out to check for parvo in the meantime- FUC tomorrowFUC arranged for + days Vital Signs Weight: 2.45; MMColour: Pink, moist; Temperature: 38.6; HeartRate: 140; RespirationRate: 32; CRT: 1-2s;
