Discharge Instructions: Rodenticide ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Treatment Summary:Your pet was presented following rodenticide ingestion. They were made to vomit and then given activated charcoal to help reduce any absorption of the toxic compounds in the rodenticide. At the time of discharge no clinical signs of toxicity were noted and your pet is stable to be discharged home.Medications:Activated charcoal - ro give as directedExercise:- Please keep your pet rested for the next 3-5 days.Diet:- No change in diet is required at this time.Recheck:- Please organise a recheck in 48-72 with your primary care vet for a blood test to check for any signs of toxicity. Blood tests prior to 48 will be ineffective at determining if toxicity is present.If your pet’s condition is not improving or if other problems develop, please call your primary care veterinarian or if it is outside their normal working hours, please call our team. No evidence of glaucoma. No evidence of foreign body in the eye Conjunctivitis in left eye (allergy vs. Infection vs. Trauma vs. Foreign body vs. Other) PLAN/DISCUSSION:Send home and monitorKeep E-collar on at all times for next 5-7days Recheck with local vet in 5-7days or recheck sooner if eye getting worseTREATMENTS ADMINISTERED:Pain relief injection Anti-inflammatory injection Medications for Administration at Home:1.
