Explained that as an Abx, this must have a check every time. I understand his frustration but explained the legalities surrounding this. O has flamazine/dex at home, which has managed her ears well in the past. Trial otoflush clean then follow with flamazine/dex once daily for 10 days. If this does not help, then I need to see Indie prior to disp medsSkin - this is new. Consider allergies - this was discussed with EC at the visit in Nov. A food trial was mentioned.Discussed dietary manipulation. True food allergies are not v common, and Indie should have had this issue from a young age. Can try the hydrolysed trial at any point but be mindful this is very strict - NO treats or other foods. Alternatively, can try elimiinating chicken and beef from the diet as these are quite often allergenic, and trial a protein she has not yet had exposure to. Suggest roo, turkey, fish etcDiscussed medication trial. I am limited today as this is a phone consult, but ok to do a trial for 1 month then touch base to see progress. Zenrelia 4.8mg sid for 4 weeks then reassessDiscussed referral, esp as Indie still is v young. Explained possibly costs.
