Reason: Ear InfectionHistory:Has another ear ifection, last night shaking and scratching all night. Has had quite a few before, vet in murimbena reccomended allergy injections.Requested once off treatment.Other wise, EDDU normal. Not really itchy elsewhere.Worming/ flea/ hw prevention: nexgard spectra monthly.Examine:-BAR- Oral cavity - NSF, Dental Score - 1, mild tartar.- Ears/ eyes/ skin - L ear mild watery discharge, inflammation, no stenoisis,no FB seen, TM intact. R ear nsf.- LNs - Peripheral LNs WNLs. - Thoracic auscultation - No audible murmur or arrhythmia, normal bronchovesicular sounds. - Abdominal palpation - Soft, comfortable, no palpable anomalies. -Skin: coat soft and shiny, no alopecia or eythema axilla or groin.- MSK - No lameness observed, complete MSK exam not performed. - Neuro - Appropriate mentation, no ataxia. Complete neuro exam not performed. - Genitourinary - NSF.Cytology:R: no infectious agentsL: neutrophils >10per 100x field, yeast resembling mallasezia 4-6/100x field.Assessment:Ddx: otitis externa, underlying allergies or other.
