Facial features generally swollen - particularly ventral mandible and buccal regions. M/S: ambulating wellEyes: bright and clearDental: No obvious trauma inside oral cavity. Lymph Nodes: nsfBCS: 5/9Assessment: facial swelling ddx: hypersensitivity reaction (insect bite vs. oral ingestion vs. vaccine reaction - less likely given history) Treatment: Niramine 0.5ml SC Dexamethasone 2mg/ml 0.24ml SC Plan: Advised O that I think vaccine reaction is less likely due to none recorded in history and unsure of present cause as no evidence of bites elsewhere on the body. Recommended monitoring at home as all other vitals are fine. If deterioration is noted, to go to emergency centre tonight. Advised of EVA or SASH as options as we are nearly closed.
