Reason: LimpingReason for visitLF lameness and carpal swelling.History-   Acute onset of LF lameness was noted after playing fetch, which involved running down a slope. Happened few days ago -   No yelping or signs of pain were observed during the activity.-   Swelling of the left carpus was noted the day prior to presentation.-   The lameness reportedly worsened slightly in the evening.-   The patient refused her evening walk the previous day.-   Appetite and water intake are reported as normal.-   The patient is not on any current medications.ExaminationMentation: Bright, alert, and responsive  BCS: 3/5  MM: pink, moist CRT: 1 second  HR: 120 BPM R: panting  Lymph nodes: within normal limits  Temperature: not taken  Dental: no abnormal discoveries  Cardiovascular: A previously diagnosed heart murmur is still present. No arrhythmias detected.  Respiratory: no respiratory depression or effort  Abdomen: no abnormal discoveries  Musculoskeletal: G3-4 LF lameness. There is significant swelling of the left carpus. Pain is elicited on palpation and flexion of the left carpus. Examination of other limbs was unremarkable.  AssessmentLeft carpal swelling and lameness.    Ddx:-   Fracture-   Soft tissue injury (e.g., sprain/strain)Assessment: -   The primary recommendation is to admit Roxy for radiographs of the left carpus today to investigate for a possible fracture, bone involvement-   The owner consented to admitting Roxy for radiographs today.    Vital Signs
