Owner reports scratching down the left side of her body with multiple superficial scabs.Historical Conditions: Previous sore leg in January - resolved and not been an issue. Responds well to Cytopoint in the past.Skin: Hot spot on left neck started yesterday, scratching down left side of body, multiple superficial scabs present.Current Meds: Tick prevention up to date (obtained from elsewhere), all vaccines up to date, heartworm prevention up to date, worming up to date.Lifestyle Risk Factors: Goes in water from time to time.Examination:Integumentary: Hot spot on left side of neck approximately 4 cm round, multiple superficial scabs down left side of body. Rest of skin and feet look good.Ears: Mildly waxy, cleaned. Not seemingly bothered by ears at the moment.Assessment:Focal pyoderma secondary to allergic dermatitis - Hot spot on left neck with associated scratching and superficial scabs, likely secondary to underlying allergic skin disease given previous positive response to Cytopoint.Plan:New Meds/Tx:- Cytopoint 30 mg administered today- Cephalexin 600 mg tablets - one tablet morning and night for 2 weeks- Full body wash BID for 2 weeks - leave for 10 minutes then rinse off- Spot wash on neck hot spot every second dayAdditional Discussion:- Recommended to keep out of water during treatment period- Recheck at end of antibiotic course or if owner happy it's cleared up, recheck may not be needed- Follow-up call scheduled for next week    Vital Signs    Weight: 28;
