sore ears - bilateral , head shaking - ear examn reveals mild bilar canal infamm only, more noticeable left side - no discharge accum although a small fry wax plug evident at the base of the right ear. no other systemic allergic symptoms. o thinks she has otoflush / elocon / pmp at home for first aid kit and I have written protocl for ear care - definitely is water related and unless o cleans ears religiously after swimming , they get irritated . have also advised reg twice weekly use of elocon as preventative over summer when swimming alot. PMP for bid use when infection occurs, but O would have checked anyway , but ok to have at home in case wekeemnds etc
