Reason: CHECK SKINHistory: Recurence of progressive skin concerns - poor response to Cytopoint injection given early Feb.Diffuse and widespread dermatitis ventrum, but not coming up with scabby lesions on the back - lift to reveal small fluid filled foci under the skin.Some lesions on the ventrum rupture (bloody fluid emitted) when some pressure is applied. Widespread deep pyoderma/furunculosis.Is on Bravecto Chew (q 3 months).Laboratory: Demodex Scrape - 3 sites - all negative.Plan: Some risk involved as may be coming into heat soon (intact female) but feel she really needs Pred, along with extended course AB's.Cephelaxin 500mg BID for 28 days supplied. Will dispense 14 days supply and hold 14 days in drawer for later collection (if does not seem to be working well, can consider alternate AB).Tapering course Pred.Recheck in 4 weeks with DF.May consider vaccination in 4 weeks.
