- Maintain toilet walks only for remainder of 3 week restriction period, then gradually increase lead walks
- Continue gastro low fat diet at current portion size (3/4 cup)
- Continue boiled lean meat (chicken mammary and beef) - morning portion only
- Raw bone treats as tolerated
- Phone/email update with surgeon in 6 weeks regarding ongoing care plan
- Monitor for any changes in mobility or comfort as pain medication is discontinued
- Future consultation with surgeon to discuss spinal issue management when appropriate
