Reason: Itchy Paws Dog was at the kennel for a couple of days and came back with itchy feet. Difficult to be bathed by owners. EDDU normal. Known to have seasonal allergy. Currently not on any allergy medication. Skin: mild to moderate erythema on ventral paws and interdigital space. Mild pruritis observed. Not pruritic on body. Mild erythema around muzzle area. Eyes and nose are NAD Ears NAD Dental G1/4 mild plaque esp on R caudal maxillary teeth. Recommended dental sticks. Tx allergy with apoquel BID for 1 week and then SID ongoing till pass the allergy season. Pred 0.21mg/kg BID for 4 days and slowly wean off. Represent if allergy flares up again after finishing the course of apoquel if owner wants to switch to cytopoint inj.
