temp 38.7*C, no blood on thermometer
ASSESMENT: vomiting/diarrhoea ddx: dietary indsicretion, acute GE, dietary sensitivity,

SUBJECTIVE: overdue vacc call - LVM LH

WEIGHT: 6.50
HISTORY: In today for recheck after recent dental with extraction of 108, 109, 208 & 209
Did have some vomiting and bloody diarrhoea post procedure
Owner has now stopped meloxicam and no more vomiting has been noted

BAR, nervous but sweet
Oral - MMs pink, moist, CRT <2s, teeth looking great, sites of extraction healing well
Sutures are intact but gums starting to seal nicely

Plan:
Home for ongoing care
Soft food for another week, then slowly re-introduce hard foods
Owner keen to introduce some t/d in addition to metabolic
SW will try to contact hills to work out feeding amounts

Hi Lisa,

We've had a look through the feeding guides and we would recommend the following feeding plan for Schnitzel:

1 - Metabolic dry food - 3/4 cup (total daily amount)
2 - T/d Small bites (dry food) 1/2 cup (total daily amount)
3 - A very small amount of Prime 100 loaf (as you have been doing)

We can commence this plan for now, and then the next time we see Schnitzel (or if you are coming past the clinic at any stage) we can weigh her and perform a body condition score and then we can adjust the food as required.
