<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><p>HISTORY<br>Presenting for: Bella, a 6 year 7 month old female desexed Maltese cross, presented for recheck 2 weeks after being diagnosed with external otitis with Malassezia.<br>Current Meds: PMP BID for 2 weeks<br>Other: Does not travel well - vomits in car but enjoys car rides and will attempt to get into strangers' cars. Has been crabby with other dogs recently.</p>
<p>EXAM<br>Mentation: BAR<br>Wt: 4.5 kg<br>BCS: 5/9<br>Behavioural: Very compliant with ear drops administration<br><br>Ears: Hair shaved around ears for improved airflow. Previously affected ear showing significant improvement - no longer bright red, black discharge resolved. <br><br>Diagnostics: Ear swab - no Malassezia present, ears clear</p>
<p>ASSESSMENT<br>External otitis - resolved. No further Malassezia detected on repeat cytology.</p>
<p>PLAN<br>Additional Discussion: <br>- Ears cleared, no further medication required<br>- Client requested additional ear medication supply</p></html>
