06/03/2026 Hi,

I’m hoping to get some advice. On Wednesday Dr Hannah suggested getting Pixie’s slow healing ulcer looked at by an eye specialist.

I’ve spoken to the preferred one in Malvern where we’ve been before - it’s a 3 week wait. I’m not sure how urgent it is and whether she can wait that long. (They’re also charging the $275 consult fee up front, which I really can’t afford if anything changes and we need something more urgent.)
Can you please ask Hannah whether we can wait 3 weeks? It’s tough otherwise, I don’t have a car, so I’d have to hire a GoGet that doesn’t permit dogs to get Pixie to Mt Waverley or Mulgrave. I sensed 3 weeks is too long though?

Thanks
Andy

6/3 - correct 3w is too long, weird that the opthalmologists are ok to wait that long, maybe can you send over the hx and see if they have closer dates/cancellations
63 CR called o, offered to email hx to opthalmologist in malvern, o said not to bother as they will be booking an appointment at another opthalmologist. O will get in touch if they need us to assist with anything

06/03/2026 O called wanting help as he couldn't get an appointment with Pixie at animal eye care - animal eye care 3 week wait
and doesn't want to venture out to any other eye clinics s he doesn't drive .
Called animal eye care and MC did direct referral with one of their vets - THANKS MAGGIE
Told O only option is 3pm thursday the 12th and O has to call them to confirm
we will dispense different meds as well for O to collect
Told O we will text when ready to collect.
