Appointment Reason: Scratching, Appointment Notes: Itchy spends time split between a property in the bush and eastern subs. not up to date on F+W.  over the last month has been scratching and both flanks and chewing forelimbs. otherwise no major concerns. eddu well no change in routine - no change in food. mm pink, teeth look great shedding ++, but skin overall looks great.very pruritic on both flanks, but NAD on skin, no lesions. skin across groin darker in color - saliva staining? hr and rr wnl, chest clear. ears both clear.very mild clear discharge collecting at medial canthus of both eyes.otherwise NAD on exam. possibly parasitic? however skin looks good - treat with nexguard specta anyway as not had in a while.more likely allergy related - discussed allergies vs food vs seasonal vs longterm discussed apoquel vs cytopoint - O opted for cytopoint. also trial shampooing to help sooth skin + shed coat.
