<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><div> <div><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">H: Eating and drinking normally, behaviour is normal.<br><br>Obtained since 2 months old.<br><br>O came back from holidays for 1 month at end of Jan 2026, o had friends coming over every day to feed cat.<br>Has already been showing signs of stranguria when o was away.<br><br>Went local vet onΒ <br>3/2/2026<br>in house blood test NAD<br>was given cystophan 1 cap PO SID for 30 days.<br><br>Started having haematuria on 4/2/2026<br><br>5/2/2026<br>UA:<br>pH: 7.0; PRO: 3+; GLU: 2+; KET: neg; BLD: 4+; no bacteria<br><br>Was better afterwards, did not vocalise when urinating.<br><br>Went back to local vet on 28/2/2026 again for haematuria, had blood tests, urine tests, bladder ultrasound, was found significant inflammation of bldder but no obvious strucural changes and urolith, sent home with 100mg gabapentin BID for 7 days, also 4kg dose metacam PO SID (has been giving everyday, just finished the 3mL bottle today).<br>O thinks has improved afterwards, no more stanguria. But started to have haematuria, stranguria and licking prepuce again today.<br><br>O reported that there was an incident recently that he escaped, and got chased by a magpie outside for a while, then he started havintg this current episode fo stranguria<br><br>Still eating drinking fine.<br><br>Indoor/outdoor: does go to backyard with grass<br>Other animals at home: none<br>Flea/worming preventatives: Bravecto plus last applied 3 months ago<br>Vaccination status: had kitten vaccs but not since then.<br>Diet: supermarket Fussy cat indoor dry. does not like wet<br>Sneezing/coughing/V+/D+: none<br>Other pre-existing conditions: none<br>Ongoing meds: none<br><br>S: Eyes: Normal; Ears: Normal; Nose: Normal<br>Mouth: Normal, mild calculus build up on both UPM4s<br>Skin & S/C: Normal, no flea or flea dirt found<br>Musculskeletal: Normal<br>Thoracic Auscultation: Normal, no obvious heart murmur<br>Abdominal Palpation: Normal, not particularly painful or reactive, small urinary bladder palpable.<br>Neuro: Normal<br><br>O: HR 180, RR 30, MM pink, CRT 1sec<br><br>A: most likely iFLUTD from being chased by magpies<br><br>T: 0.21mL methone and 0.1mL midaz SC<br><br>P: home on more metacam (will do 5kg dose PO SID for 5 days for now), also gabapentin 100mg PO BID PRN<br>Recheck if no better, discussed to consider UA and imaging as a next step if wants to work case up again.</span></div> </div></html>
