dental - Jarred ultrasound report attached heart scan first ACVIMJ early stage D MMMVD Unnaceptable anaesthetic risk based on JC ultrasound O said that Charlies cough and sleeping resp rate have improved with frusemide therapy that was started 4-6 weeks ago. SRR 20> 12 at the moment Tx options 1. Reccomend refferal to dentist as they have an anaesthetist to provide a better assessment and care for high risk patient such as charlie on whether it would be worth while to go ahead with the dental. Main complaint is reluctance to eat kibble and with the advanced dental disease dealing with the teeth is reccomended to see if it would help with this issue. Said we could do the dental here but high risk of complications. While the risk might be high at the dentist as well the expertise of the anaesthetist and with Dr Kevin doing the procedure we can ensure that any complications are minimised/addressed appropriately. Mentioned to owner the specialist may want to repeat the scan +/- bloods as well. Plan: Send refferal to animalius. O to pick up dog
