If unable to collect urine then AES recommend sedation, IVFT to fill bladder then cystocentesis to perform UAPre-consulting nurse:Physical exam:- BAR, EDDU normal. - Oral: Grade 2-3/4 dental disease, CRT <2, MM pink and moist- CVS: No murmurs or arrythmias detected, Bilaterally clear bronchovesicular sounds- MSK: Ambulating well- Abdominal palpation, No pain elicited- Urogenital: Bladder, small- LN: NAD- Diagnostics:- Attempted U/S, bladder not visualised. Rosco was intolerant of positioning before able to locate bladder.--- Believe bladder is small not distendedAssessment:- No bladder distension, Symptoms most likely due to FIC- Dental scale + polish recommendedTreatment:- Metacam 7kg dose SID with FOOD until symptoms resolve- Hills C/D stress foodPlan:- O will continue GABA + Buprenorphine as dispensed from Emergency- O will purchase Feliway diffuser- Monitor, return if concerned05.03.25 - urinated overnight.
