Reason: Wound Check & Bloods Appointment Notes: Overdue remindersIn for a recheck.  Found by owners last saturday. After went missing.  Found with a large inguinal wound. Taken to emergency  surgery and stitch up of the area.  5 days of hospitalisation.Main issue was a non regenerative anaemia that was worsening.  HCT/PCv down to 13.  Discharged from hospitalOn amoxyclav, enrofloxacin, gabapentin.Since discharge has been getting much better.  Happy, BAR, EDDU all normal. Some diarrhoea. Otherwise no issues with the medication.  Main concern for the owner is the wound on leg that seems to have gotten worse.  Always had it.  Licked it off and is now exposed. MM/CRT pale pink/ 2 sec.  Eyes normal. Ears normal. No swollen Lns chest auscultated HR 150, no murmur RR 30, lung sounds normal. No pain or masses on abdominal palpation. Temp 38.3.Wound inguinal area ( right?) dorsoventral wound closed byu blue ford-interlocking sutures. Some scabing/separation iof the skin at the proximal end of the wound.  No erythema minimal discharge present.  Right foot long skinny crust developing has hair on it- appears to be dead, dried skin that will now start scabbing off.    Unable to close area  minmal inflammation arounf it.Plan at the moment as per emergency notes.Blood test - check to see how it is all going. Anemia- PCV at 17.  On the rise and a severe reticulocyte response. Regenerating.  Thinking we just monitor the pcv.Watching the wounds.  Continue on amoxyclav.  If concerned owner to call us.  Otherwise recheck on friday make plan for weekend and thought we do a pcv on friday to see where that heamatocrit is at.  Look to take sutures out on Monday.
