Unable to palpate due to distension.Musculoskeletal: nad, normal rom of hips, no cranial draw, normal patella.Integument: above dorsal to the anus is pink, lobulated, cutaneous, around 1.5cm in diameter.Laboratory: Inhouse comprehensive and hematology:- very high ALP >2000- high ALT 222- high PHOS 2.21- mild anemia- high neut.- all other parameters wnl.FNA of lump obtained and sent to vetnostics for cytology.Assessment: Suspect neoplasia will await FNA results.Very high ALP and slightly high ALTSuspect cholangioehpatopathy vs cushings.--- 01/03/2026 11:20:46 BL:Spoke to owner about blood results.Recommended doing ultrasound and ACTH stim test.Ultrasound would rule out liver, GB and kidney issues and ACTH would rule out cushings.Advsied owner we re still waiting for the FNA results from vetnostics.Laboratory: --- 03/03/2026 11:52:39 BL:INTERPRETATIONHepatoid perianal gland tumour - consistent with a benign perianaladenoma.COMMENTSThis is consistent with a benign hepatoid/perianal gland tumour andthere is evidence of cystic/degenerative changes. Although the majorityof these tumours occur in intact adult male dogs, they may also occur indesexed males and females.Assessment: Called owner with results. Advised benign tumour.Recommend doing ACTH stim test and abdominal ultrasound and thensurgical removal of the tumour. Did warn owner possibility of faecal incontinence if anal sphincter is affected.
