Reason: Bloods + Health Check With Dr KatieHistory:Mischef presented for a blood pressure recheck. Gabapentin was administered prior to the visit. Recent blood results were reportedly normal.Eddu normalNo V+ or D+Referral History:Examination:BarNormothermic.Euhydrated. Normal skin tent.CV: Blood pressure measured and found to be mildly elevated, considered acceptable in the context of a stressful clinical environment. No murmurs or arrhythmias heard on auscultation.Resp: Normal Bronchovesicular sounds bilaterally.Mucous membranes pink and moist. CRT < 2 secs.LN: Peripheral LN’s WNL.Integument: Coat soft, skin non erythematous. No lesions. No evidence of ectoparasites.Eyes, Ears, Nose, T: Eyes clear. Ears clean and non painful.Musculoskeletal: No lameness noted. Fully weight bearing.Neuro: Normal demeanour. No neurological concerns.Abdomen : No obvious pain or abnormalities detected on palpation. Comfortable.G/U: Bladder comfortable. Genitalia normal.Assessment:Mild situational hypertension, likely secondary to stress. No immediate concern for systemic hypertension.Treatment:No medications administered or prescribed at this time.Checking T4 and will call O with resultsPlan:Advised to monitor for clinical signs of hypertension at home, including restlessness or vocalising at night. If these signs are observed, Mischef should return for a recheck of her blood pressure. No immediate further investigation or treatment is required.T4 normal - continue current dose - sent text to oHi, Mischef's Thyroid results have come back in the normal range so please continue the current methimazole dose.
