Reason: Burst CystAppointment Notes: Cyst on back of shoulder burst this afternoon - LNHistory:LH shoulder has a cyst/abcess which has opened and draining. O noticed it come up a couple of days ago. No known trauma, history of grass seedsPreviously had lipoma in same spot, O said went away 6mth ago.Otherwise well.Examine:BAR mmpink, CRt <2Cardio and resp WNL3x3cm round well demarcated firm draining lesion on left shoulder.Laboratory: Cytology: Neutrophils +++Treatment:Clip and clean with chlorhex.1/2 cephalexin 500mg tablet BID for 10 days.Plan:Recheck in 5-7 days if no improvement sedate for possible grass seed removal.Represent if gets any worse.
