06/03/2026 HISTORY: Was fine yesterday, sudden onset this morning, not walking well on left hind leg, didn't want breakfast and had some diarrhoea.
otherwise ok.
Had been playing with other dog in yard prior, no yelp heard.

PHYSICAL EXAM: 
Attitude: bar, a little anxious in clinic
BCS: 3/5
Heart/lungs: nad
MM: pink and moist
Skin Tent: normal, no swelling or oedema over body.
Dental Score: 0
Abdomen: nad
Skin: no hives/swelling/pruritis/inflammaiton.
Eyes: nad
Ears: nad
Temp: not taken
Lymph Nodes:nad
MSK/Neuro:mild weight bearing lameness left hind leg. Repeatable response to palpation and manipulation of left stifle compared to right, with no laxity or crepitus. No pain in nails, toes, no sting found, no pain in other joints or long bones.
Rectal:not performed

DIAGNOSTICS: none today.

ASSESSMENT: ddx: injury or sprain to left hind leg, no ligament damage found on wake exam./ insect bite reaction (would potentially explain diarr and off food, but no other findings associated with this).
Off food and diarr this am- poss stress response to injury? or other issue.

PLAN: Meloxicam inj given. to keep confined and lead only walking. no playing.

If gi signs resolve, then start oral meloxicam in am. Ini or diarr/annapitance continues, then recommend rv.
