Reason: Infected anal gland Has developed an infected anal gland again not long after a groom. This appears to be a recurring pattern and owners had not noticed him scooting or chewing at the back end prior to the groom.Normally gets a short cut. Have advised to not clip too short close to the anus and to refrain from the groomer trying to express the anal glands. Faeces has been normal consistency and otherwise well in himself. Will start a course of enrofloxacin and macrolone and recheck at the end of the antibiotics to make sure infection has resolved. Vital Signs Weight: 15.5;
