Has been otherwise well Hx of cardiac failure, currently managed with pimobendan, furosemide and spironolactone. Examine: BAR, ambulatory. Skin- Small full thickness laceration on the lateral aspect of the L elbow, approx 5 mm in length. Subcutis exposed, minimal contaminationTreatment: The wound was lavaged with sterile saline, wound edges disinfected with chlorhex. The wound edges were apposed with CA glue Meloxicam 0.75 mg PO SID Communication: Delayed healing is expected due to age, thin skin, and cardiac comoborbidity. Expect the wound to heal over 1-2 weeks. O to monitor and clean the area regularly. Recheck if there is signs of infection    Vital Signs
