REASON: Vomiting has been bad again. 
This afternoon passed a vomit with red blood in it. 

PROGRESS: Was doing well. 
Started vomiting occasionally on the allergy food. 
O is now feeding various foods, Mostly wet because thought the dry was the main thing coming up and was the cause. 
Is an active vomit, not a regirg. 
No known access to ratsak, and is an indoor only cat. 

EXAM: MM colour good. 
T39.0C
NAD abdo palpation. 

ASSESSMENT: Likely IBD with a dietary sensitivity. 

PLAN: Start some pred and back onto hypoallergenic diet. 
Keep away from the dogs food. 
Consider biopsies if not responding well. 

NEXT RECHECK NEEDED: Revisit if not much improved in a week.

VACCINATION:

Current issues: - ate all hypoallergenic but didn't get anymore
- found if having more kibble, wound bring that up, so now o giving more wet food. on hairball diet, purina wet and dry - coat and hairball formula - coping with change
- when vomiting would bring up more hair
- now giving cat lax, but only if he has a vomit, sometimes twice weekly or not at all
- brush every day to reduce fur taken in from grooming
- hasn't vomited for a long time. may just be for a day, then he is a fine. much improved from when we saw him for this issue last year
- indoor only now
- faeces - may see hair in poo when hes sick, otherwise normal
- previous vacc nobivac tricat F3

MSK: very stiff for exam so hard to palpate

PROBLEM LIST: anxious here, mild dental dz, overweight, GI symptoms much improved

PLAN: feligen F3 SC and milpro PO
- recc r/c anallergenic diet but o happy to take r/c hypoallergenic today as did well on that last time
- recc prophylactic catlax 1-2 times a week
- recc weight loss
