STO- digging at crate at night, very unsettled. Doesn't seem painful just anxious/ stressed about being in the crate Discussed reason behind the crate is to limit activity and mobility- if is more relaxed and calm out of the crate and O. can confidently limit his activity then that may be the lesser of two evils than him digging and moving around the crate all night. O. is quite anxious and would prefer to try sedatives and persevere with the crate Planned to do up trazadone to try. Just prior to phone call ending O. mentions when she lets him out of the crate hes not really walking.... asked if he can walk and she said he seems weak in the HL. Reading TN notes from 3 days ago this sound like a deterioration. O. would like to bring him in for a recheck, can get here for 4pm- booked in with EL as had this spot open. Will leave the trazadone for EL to make up pending reassessment 05/03/2026 4:11:16 PM EL:BAR, friendly and good to examinewalking normallyno proprioceptive deficitsno pain on spinal palpation hind limb manipulationno yelping at all today!suspect digging in crate is behavioural rather than a pain responseoptions: add in traz at night or consider doubling night time gabapentino keen to trial double gaba dose first. advised that i consider Benji's physical exam an improvement from last time given notes! okay to collect trazadone in next week without a revisit.monitor for any signs of deterioration - unable to walk, inappetance, yelping
