Email from PVS The radial fracture healed well, although the ulna is not healed. Since weight bearing is predominantly in the radius at the location, I am not concerned. Georgie can increase activity slowly to normal level over 4 weeks. The ulna may eventually unite if enough loading is present. But even if it does not heal, the functionality is not compromised. Discussed with owner. Rec repeat xrays in 6 weeks bit explained to owner that PVS surgery was not concerned and unlikely to try and fix the ulna.
