05/03/2026 Owners were 10 minutes late.

History:
Andrew presented Joe today as he has sore eyes again.

Initally came November/December - thought allergic - started anti-histamines and eye drops, cleared for a bit and then replased.
Came in Febuary and was started some Prednisolone drops.

Has hairloss around the eyes.
No rubbing of the eyes, don't seem to annoying him at all.
Discharge from both eyes, clear-milky in colour.
Not holding his eyes shut at all.

Owners are moving house and going to boarding for a month so want to get him checked before then.
Have not been to Paws at Prospect yet - were refered there about 1 month ago.

UTD with parasite preventatives. Thinks its a product that does mites.

Examination:
Joe was BAR on presentation, little nervous.
IS VERY HEAD SHY AND DOESN'T ALLOW GOOD ASSESSMENT OF EYES.
OWNER IS USELESS AT HOLDING AND JUST SITS THERE AND WATCHES THE DOG ROLL AROUND TRYIGN TO GET AWAY FROM ME.

Body weight: 26.7kg

HR= 104bpm, regular-regular rhythm, no obvious murmur audible. Strong and ysnchronous femoral pulses.
RR= 24bpm, clea rlung fields with normal respiratory sounds and effort. No crakcles or wheezes.
MM= pigmented-pink, moist. CRT= 1-2sec

Both eyes have normal menace reposne, dazzle and PLR.
Conjunctiva is not inflamed or irritated.
Some clear discharge at the left medial canthus.
Sclera is white in colour - not red today.
There is some hair loss around the medial canthus but not thew rest of the eyes.
From my brief examination does not look like any of the eyelids are rolled in.
Attempted to do fluoscein drop and Schimers Tear Test but does not allow at all.

Assessment:
Eyes seems to be healthy today, no cocnerns looking at them.
Could be allergy related or mild reoccuring conjuntivitis vs other.

Treatment:
Trial Framixin - slither into both eyes when havign a flare up
Wanted to be cautious with Prednisolone use as if an ulcer or scratch does occur then could make it a lot worse.

Plan:
Strongly recommended seeing Paws at Prospect for full eye examination - will need sedation here for us to do STT and stian but would be best to get that all done at Prospect + any other eye tests that they may need to do
